Biography Born and raised in Columbus, OH, I graduated from Grandview Heights High School in 2005. My original intent after being accepted to The College of Wooster in Northeast Ohio was to become a teacher. After four years and numerous exams, I received my Bachelor's in Music Education and a teaching certificate. While in my studies, I performed regularly in the theatre department on campus and eventually co-founded a student-run theatre troupe called Effie's Players in 2009. Following graduation and my second summer performing with the Ohio Light Opera, some close friends and I took up and moved to DC. Since then, my performances have taken me all across the DC Metro area from Frederick to Silver Spring to DC SW. Most recently, I was seen as Claude in Hair, Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet, Melchior in Spring Awakening, and part of the ensemble in You, Nero where I earned my registration as an Equity Member Candidate. Through my work at Ohio Light Opera, I had the great opportunity to record full-length operettas including Ruddigore, Mlle. Modiste, and The Mikado which all can be purchased online.
After my work in DC, I decided to take the full plunge into New York and see what happens. Since moving in 2013, I have grown exponentially both personally and career-wise. Over the course of a year, I had the fortune of working on my first Off-Broadway show called Showgirls the Musical. Through numerous workshops, staged readings, tv pilots, and small stage productions, I continue to work on a craft that fills me with passion. I am always looking for new adventures and it seems as though they are limitless in NYC.
